Eric Hicks is a Saskatchewan born, Toronto-based actor whose career began back in 2008 after winning Best TV Commercial and Overall Best Talent at CMTC.
Eric trained extensively in both theatre and film before making his television debut acting alongside Jake McLaughlin and Priyanka Chopra on ABC’s Quantico (ABC). Prior to this he had starred in over 30 short and independent films before joining the ACTRA union in 2015. Eric’s credits include principal roles on The Strain (FX), Reign (CW), the series finale of Schitt’s Creek (CBC), and from 2016-2019 Hicks was chosen to portray the recurring role of Constable D. Fox in all 4 seasons of Daniel Grou’s multi-award winning detective series Cardinal (CTV/eOne). Most recently, Hicks played opposite Kim Coates, Lisa Berry and Brandon Oakes as Detective Ken Tucker for Season 2 of New Metric Media’s CSA winning drama Bad Blood (CityTV).
Eric’s additional credits include the feature films White Night, The Christmas Wedding Planner alongside Kelly Rutherford, and more recently the action sci-fi film Enhanced. Hicks also starred opposite Amber Marshall in the film Love in Harmony Valley released in 2020.
