CMTC alumni model Makala Wright is from Moosomin First Nation in Saskatchewan – a community of about 2,000 people. Makala signed with Marilyn Agency in New York City after connecting with reps at CMTC 2025.
Makala’s first flight ever was to CMTC in Toronto in May 2025. Her second flight was to New York City in July 2025 for a development trip with Marilyn’s! Marilyn’s organized three test shoots with top photographers in New York City for Makala.
