CMTC alumni Natalie Glebova is a Russian-Canadian television host, author, dancer, model, activist, and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Universe in 2005.

Natalie was born in Tuapse, Russia. At age 13, Natalie and her family left Russia and settled in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

After high school, Natalie pursued a modelling career while earning a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Information Technology Management and Marketing from Ryerson University.

In 2004, Natalie attended CMTC to gain education, experience, & exposure in the modelling and entertainment industries.

That same year, she began her pageantry career while competing in Miss Universe Canada 2004. She didn’t give up after being placed as the third runner-up and again competed at Miss Universe Canada 2005 and eventually won the title as well as a chance to represent Canada at Miss Universe 2005. 

She is currently the ambassador for Habitat for Humanity (Asia-Pacific region) and Year of the Gibbon (wildlife conservation organization) and has worked as a spokesperson for many NGO’s including WWF, UNEP, Global Health Council, and Operation Smile.

She is a published author of two books “Healthy Happy Beautiful” and “I Am Winning – A Guide to Personal Empowerment”.

In May 2012, Natalie and French company Bel Perfumes based in Thailand released Glebova’s first fragrance, Beauty Icon.

CMTC Alumni Fun Fact: Natalie participated in the third season of Amazing Race Asia and the 2012 edition of Dancing With The Stars Thailand.
