Nikko Hinayo is a Filipino-Canadian actor, model, artist, and musical theatre performer from Calgary, Alberta. Nikko attended CMTC 2022, where they earned 1st place in the TV Commercial Competition and 2nd Runner-Up in the Commercial Print Competition.
Since CMTC, Nikko landed a role on Davey & Jonesie’s Locker, a 10-episode single-camera series filmed in Toronto, now streaming on Prime Video and Hulu. Nikko was also invited to perform at New York City’s 54 Below in a pride show, which they described as “an absolute dream.” Nikko is in the Amazon Prime Video YA series Sterling Point, created by Megan Park.
Nikko is currently signed with Play Management in Toronto, one of the many top agencies and reps from international markets that attend CMTC.
Fun Facts: Nikko trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s integrated musical theatre program in New York. While they love to be immersed in the arts, they are also a dedicated advocate for diversity, accessibility and equal opportunity for marginalized groups in the industry.
