- Contestants will present their best two “prints” (i.e., pictures) to the industry reps scouting at CMTC.
- The reps will also be acting as the competition judges.
- The Photography Go-See Competition is open to contestants of all ages.
- Contestants must hold up their prints so they can be clearly seen by the industry reps.
- Only two (2) prints are permitted at the competition. The judges will only evaluate two prints.
- The two prints must be loose and not contained in a portfolio or envelope. The prints cannot be shown on an electronic device (e.g., a tablet or phone).
- Photos must be single prints on quality paper (glossy or matte); no collages.
- Prints can be in colour or black and white.
- Prints must be within the size range of 5” x 7” to 9” x 12” (standard portfolio size).
- Photos created or altered using AI will be immediately disqualified.
- Contestants may or may not be asked questions by the judges.
- Judging will be based on the photogenic quality and print potential of the contestant.
- This competition is closed to audience attendance.
Wardrobe Requirements:
- Wardrobe and style will be left to the discretion of contestants.
