CMTC alumni Renée Mittelstaedt from Ottawa, Ontario can be seen in advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola, Nars Cosmetics, FabFitFun, Lululemon, Dynamite, Urban Outfitters, Puma, Aéropostale, Yellow Shoes, Target, TJMaxx, Adidas, Garage, G-Star, Shoppers Drug Mart, Aldo Shoes, and Aerie. Renée has also worked with Call It Spring Shoes, Belk and Nike. She has been featured in LouLou Magazine, Seventeen Magazine, British Airways Horizons In-Flight Magazine, Women’s Health Magazine South Africa, Nylon Magazine, and Cosmopolitan. Renée appears in Beyoncé’s video for “Pretty Hurts” as one of the models on stage. Renée recently booked an upcoming holiday campaign for Lightbox Jewellery.
Despite her busy modelling career, Renée simultaneously pursued an education at McGill University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Sociology and minoring in Communication Studies). She is also the founder of the newly launched Pivot NY, a platform that encourages models to anticipate their career pivot through job shadowing and sharing resources on translating skills.
Today, Renée lives and works as a model in New York City.
