Robert Giovannini from St. Lawrence, Newfoundland and Labrador signed with Sutherland Models (Toronto), Together Model Management (Montreal), & IMG (Milan, Paris, and London) after connecting with reps at CMTC 2025.
Robert attended CMTC 2025 with no experience in the industry. He left a lasting impression, placing 1st in Runway, 1st in Commercial Print, and 1st runner-up in Photography Go-See in his division. He received an impressive 28 callbacks from top agencies in markets such as Milan, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico City, Miami, Montreal, and Tokyo. Only a few weeks after CMTC, Robert signed with Sutherland Models, Together Model Management, and IMG – all whom he connected with at the event.
Coming from a small town of just 1,100 people in Newfoundland and Labrador, Robert has continued to build strong momentum within the industry through ongoing development and bookings. He has worked with national fashion client SSENSE as well as international brands such as Folli Follie.
In less than a year, Robert has travelled to Montreal, Toronto, Milan, London and Seoul for work.
