Competition rules:

The Swimsuit Competition is open to contestants ages 12 and over.
Each contestant will walk the runway one time only.
Contestants may not stop or turn in the middle of the runway.
No dancing or constant posing will be permitted.
Judging will be based on swimsuit figure and modelling techniques.

Wardrobe Requirements:

All competitors must be barefooted.
Females must wear a two-piece swimsuit (shorts are not permitted, bikini-style bottoms only).
Males must wear swim shorts (no speedos permitted).
The following articles of clothing and items are prohibited: bodysuits, lingerie, thong bottoms, leotards, aerobic wear, hosiery, shoes, props, hats, sunglasses, and accessories.
All contestants must wear a cover-up in the hallways before competing.

Tips from the Judges:

Select a swimsuit that you feel confident wearing. The swimsuit should compliment your skin tone. If you are unsure of what colour swimsuit to wear, black swimsuits are industry standard.
